I had a rare Friday night “off” last night, due to our Thursday night broadcast of the Grimsley-Dudley game[mostly Dudley, sorry Coach Saunders] so I took our digital out to Jamestown-my old stomping grounds-to Kenneth T. Miller Stadium.
The game was absolutely terrific. The Tigers scored late in the fourth to take a 30-26 lead and then held Northwest from about the Tiger nine yard line with under a minute left to secure the win. I said to coach Norwood “It’s never easy is it?” He said “No, and the older I get the more difficult it is, too.”
The win sets up nicely our Friday night game of the week, with two unbeatens, Page and Ragsdale, each at 3-0. We’ll have more on that game later in the week. For now, enjoy the many photos that will follow of Ragsdale and Northwest.
