Guilford’s women’s soccer team fell to visiting Meredith Friday afternoon, 1-0. The Avenging Angels scored the game-winner with three minutes left in regulation. Guilford nearly tied the game shortly thereafter, but Meredith cleared a ball after it hit off of its own crossbar. Amber Stapler made seven saves in goal for the Quakers, who have won three of their last four games.
