Schools name new Athletic Director

from news-record.com:
Superintendent Maurice “Mo” Green named Eastern High School assistant principal Leigh Hebbard the school system’s new director of athletics and drivers education during a press conference today.

Hebbard is a 15-year veteran of Guilford County Schools, serving as a teacher, athletic trainer and dropout prevention specialist.

Hebbard said he is anxious about the new position, which he begins next month.

“I do believe athletics is one important tool we have in our toolbox to help educate our children,” he said.

Hebbard said he wants to meet with the various school athletic directors before creating a priority list for his new job.

  1. It seems John Hughes of Northwest lost all credibility for this job once he falsely went after Coach K. at Northern. Killed his career!

  2. Coach K just knows how not to get caught. He’s at his third school so the man knows how to get over so John Hughes lost big time.
