More on HS hoops from last night

Joe got us on the scoreboard last night and we had Page, Northern, Dudley, Ragsdale, High Point Andrews, High Point Central and Eastern Guilford as winners in the boy’s games.

The HPA score was Red Raiders 65-44 over Sun Valley. Northwest Guilford lost to highly-touted Charlotte Vance, 68-59.

Other teams that fell out of the running for the boys title last night included; Western Guilford, Southeast, and Grimsley.

North Forsyth edged North Mecklenburg 55-54 and the Vikings will be at PAGE on Wednesday night. A renewal of former Metro 4-A foes, as North Forsyth now resides in the Central Piedmont 4-A, but they just recently left the Metro. Jarius Simms will lead NF into the Mac Morris Gym.

Ragsdale now (26-1) after last night’s win, will be hosting West Rowan(24-3) in Round Two of the playoffs. That’s a tough second round draw……

Other Round Two action will have:
High Point Central(15-10) at West Forsyth(19-5)
Charlotte Vance(24-3) at Mount Tabor(26-1)
WS Reynolds(14-12) at Huntersville Hopewell(25-0)

Marvin Ridge(19-6) at High Point Andrews(22-4)
Southwest Edgecombe(16-8) at Northern Guilford(25-3)
Dudley(24-3) at Southern Lee(20-6)

Graham(14-11) at Eastern Guilford(13-12)
