Batista is nursing a torn tendon in his biceps, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com. The injury was originally believed to be a torn biceps, but the tendon tear is not as serious and won’t require him to miss as much time. Johnson also reports that Batista is scheduled to undergo surgery on Tuesday.
Jason Powell’s POV: It will be interesting to see if they take the title off Batista tonight on WWE Raw if he is having surgery on Tuesday. I spoke with a source who said that he wasn’t talking about the injury last night at the pay-per-view. For that matter, he didn’t appear to be favoring one arm during his match against Randy Orton.
It’s another tough break for Batista, who has a history of tearing muscles and suffering other injuries.
