Wil Myers from Wesleyan Christian Academy in High Point(High Point Wesleyan) has been named to the EA Sports high school All-American team as a catcher. Wil was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the recent professional baseball draft.

Wil Myers (Wesleyan Christian / High Point, N.C.), Senior
He played catcher as a senior, but the versatile 6-foot-3, 190-pound athlete was also utilized as an infielder, outfielder and pitcher in his career. He batted .532 with 14 home runs and 41 RBIs this season. A University of South Carolina recruit, he was drafted in the third round by the Kansas City Royals.
