TCDI Sponsorship Gives Teachers and Guest Free Weekend Admission

GREENSBORO, N.C. – With the Wyndham Championship comes the end of summer vacation for most schools, and Piedmont Triad teachers at public and private schools can mark the end of summer vacation with free admission to the third and fourth rounds of the tournament, it was announced today.

Technology Concepts and Design, Inc., a Greensboro-based company, is sponsoring the free admission for teachers. Eligible teachers include those teaching kindergarten through high school at all Piedmont Triad public and private schools. Teachers need only show a current school identification card in the public parking lot to receive two free tickets for the third round on Saturday Aug. 22 and again for the final round of the Wyndham Championship on Sunday, Aug. 23.

“We are proud to offer this opportunity to our Triad teachers,” tournament director Mark Brazil said. “Our teachers accept huge responsibility, and their performance is vital to our region’s future. If anybody deserves a chance to enjoy the Wyndham Championship free of charge, it’s our teachers, and we sincerely appreciate Bill Johnson at TCDI for making this program possible.”

The 70th Wyndham Championship is set for Aug. 17-23, 2009 at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C.   1. The only question that remains is, will there be ticket compensation for those that were non-faculty members, but were coaches?
