MBi Sports takes the L.E.A.D./MBi Supports Legacy League Event‏

On September 12th, Mike Baker took the opportunity to attend the celebration of the launch of The Legacy League (www.legacyleague.com), at Perkerson Park, in Atlanta, Ga. The Legacy League is lead by CJ Stewart and his wife Kelli. Cj also formed the non profit L.E.A.D. organization( www.lead2legacy.org ). “L.E.A.D. is a non profit organization located in Atlanta, Ga.

L.E.A.D. is committed to having a significant impact on the number of inner city teens ages 14-18 playing competitive baseball in high school and to prepare them to compete for college baseball scholarships. L.E.A.D. embraces the legacy of leadership demonstrated by African American legends in baseball to inspire a new generation of players and coaches to develop and become engaged citizens in their communities and world.”

“It was a very enjoyable and exciting occasion, ” said Baker, owner of MBi Sports Management in Greensboro, NC(www.mbisports.com). “To experience the occasion first hand and to feel the excitement and appreciation from the kids AND the others in attendance was special. I learned about this program from one of the players we represent, CJ Beatty! I want to thank him for that. He is very involved, and I was looking for a cause, one that I felt 100% comfortable to get behind and become involved with.”

” I met so many nice people and Cj and Kelli struck me as very passionate and sincere individuals. It is just great to see this take off for them. The Legacy League is getting a lot of support from the community and from Major League Baseball as well. I am looking forward to participating in future events and I know CJ Beatty is as well.
