This week’s All Area checklist for HS football

“Ragsdale Defense”…..The Tiger ‘D’ has pitched four straight shutouts and given up 7 points in the last 5 weeks and with QB Luke Heavner going 7-10 for 2TD’s, the offense had enough in the tank to claim win number nine, as RHS stopped NWG last Friday night in Jamestown…….RB D’onovan Smith over 100 rushing yards for Ragsdale….

Drew Rogers 3TD’s and 171 yards on 25 carries for Page over Smith and when’s the last time Austin Anthony missed one of his PAT’s? 5-5 last Friday night and Jon Spain continues to lead the defense…..

Keenan Allen(Northern Guilford) with 3TD’s and another steady game on defense. Maurice Harris was right there with Keenan for Northern with multiple TD’s coming from offense and defense and Chytee Attaway also took in 2 Nighthawk touchdowns….

Jimmy Moorman and Akeem Langham led the High Point Central defense in the Bison’s 28-8 victory over WS Parkland….Defensive plays by Moorman and Langham and a nice catch by Derek Grant on a pass by Drew Adams led HPC to victory….

It was Darius White’s kind of night as the Northeast Guilford QB ran for 128 yards and 2TD’s in the Rams’ 28-0 win over SG. White had help from Trey Ingram on offense and defense(a TD for Ingram on each side of the ball) and Southern saw RB Warren Scott held to 95 yards on 25 carries….

Josh Morehead struck gold for Eastern Guilford in the 4th quarter as the senior quarterback ran for a 62-yarder and he took a 1-yard TD plunge to help the EG Wildcats fight back to beat Rockingham County…..

Dudley’s JR Peterson, Alex Moore, Devarris Martin and Mycah Gaylord all scored on runs as the Panthers put up over 400 yards on the ground to run past Southeast Guilford 34-12…..

Airyn Willis had 115 yards on 7 receptions for Southwest Guilford in the Cowboys’ loss to Glenn and Willis made 2 of those 7 catches good for touchdowns and he also committed to East Carolina this week…..

Aaron Jones of Western Guilford scored 3TD’s, but the Hornets fell to Southern Alamance 29-27 after Jones was ejected on a so-called TD celebration…….
