There’s a BIG ONE Tonight at the Greensboro Coliseum

Tyler Sanborn and Clay Henson lead the Guilford College men in, fresh off an appearance in last year’s DIII Final Four and the Greensboro College women just completed their best season in school history, with a (27-3) mark in 2008/2009……

This is the BIG ONE and can the Greensboro College men stop the big one 6’11 Tyler Sanborn in the middle. Sanborn is usually good for 10 points and 10 rebounds just by stepping on the court….What about that Pride men?????? Can Sanborn be stopped or even slowed down?

Greensboro held Big Ben Strong in check over at the Hanes Gym a couple of years back, but can they handle the fast-rising Sanborn? It’s almost like this kid has been born a second time and he has come back as a sky-scraper……Sanborn, Henson, Bonner, Josh Pittman from nearby Trinity and Luqman Tijani for Greensboro College from in-city Greensboro Page…Check out the local talent on hand TONIGHT.

WIN PRIZES!
There will be halftime contests between Greensboro and Guilford students at both games. The winner at the women’s game gets two concert tickets to any upcoming concert at the Coliseum. The winner of the men’s game contest will get an i-Pod Touch!

MUSIC AND ENTERTAINMENT
The national anthem will be performed by the Mane Attraction, Greensboro College’s male acapella group. The GC cheerleaders will be on hand and more surprises are planned. The Greensboro College pep band will also be in attendance.

AND THEY SAVED THE BEST FOR LAST: GREAT BASKETBALL!
The Pride women are coming off their best season (27-3) ever. On the men’s side, GC will look to knock off the nationally ranked Quakers. (Does that sound familiar? Remember two years ago at Hanes Gym?)
