GREENSBORO, N.C. – Individual session tickets for the 2010 ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament, to be held March 4-7 at Greensboro Coliseum, will go on sale Tuesday, December 1, at 10 am.

Tickets may be purchased at, via Ticketmaster’s Charge-By-Phone Network at 800-745-3000, at Ticketmaster outlets and at the Coliseum advance box office. Individual session tickets range from $10 to $20.

The popular “Family Four Pack” ticket package (four tickets, four hot dogs and four small drinks for $44.00) is also available in select sections for each session.

The 2010 ACC Women’s Tournament will mark the 11th consecutive year the Coliseum has played host to the event. Last year, the Tournament set an overall attendance record (73,187) for the seventh consecutive year and welcomed four new single-session records.

The ACC returned 39 of last year’s 60 starters for the 2009-10 season, including seven players who earned All-ACC first-, second- or third-team honors. Five of the ACC’s top 10 scorers returned from a year ago, including the league’s top scorer and this year’s ACC Preseason Player of the Year, Virginia’s Monica Wright. In addition, the ACC is the only league to have eight teams represented on the Naismith Preseason candidate list and owns the most student-athletes selected (nine) of any conference named among candidates.

Maryland broke North Carolina’s four-year ACC Tournament title win streak last year as the Terrapins defeated Duke (92-89) in overtime to capture their first league tournament crown since 1989 and just their ninth overall.
