In tonight’s game Capricia Smalls led EG in scoring with 21 points and Miranda Jenkins was close behind with 19….Tiarra Smith added 9 to the balanced Wildcat attack….In Western’s 43-27 win that got them to the Championship game, Clency had 21 and Green pumped in 10 in the win over Northwood……

Eastern Guilford Advanced to the Championship game against Western Guilford by defeating a very athletic team Scotland whom had won a day earlier. Eastern fell behind early by six points before rallying to take a commanding 46-22 halftime advantage. Eastern got key play from every team member and were lead by 21 points each by Miranda Jenkins and Capricia Smalls whom also combined for 15 assists.. Tierra Smith came off the bench to score a career high 9 points and grabbed 6 rebs. Freshmen Whitney Parker knocked down to three pointers to also reach her young career high.

The River Mill girls bounced back from Monday’s 56-53 loss to Western Guilford with a convincing 66-29 win over Western Alamance.

The Lady Jaguars’ played with excellent intensity, and stormed to a 19-5 first quarter lead. They will face Carrboro at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, in the contest for fifth place.
