The #1 team in the Nation is is action tonight with the Guilford College Quakers taking on Hampden-Sydney in a very important ODAC contest.
It’s time to get down at the Ragan-Brown Field House on the Guilford campus since there will be no other games in the area with all the high schools still closed up….
The “Get-Down” at the RAgan-Brown and let’s run those Tigers right out of town and support our local team as they shoot for the National Championship……..

Guilford Hosts Hampden-Sydney In V Foundation GameGREENSBORO, N.C. (2/1/10) â€“ Guilford Collegeâ€™s menâ€™s basketball team host its fourth annual Jimmy V Night this Wednesday (2/3) when the Quakers host Hampden-Sydney College. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. at Ragan-Brown Field House.
Tickets cost $5, with all proceeds benefitting the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Fans can made additional donations to the V Foundation at the door or in a special silent auction. All donations directly benefit cancer research through the V Foundation.
This yearâ€™s silent auction includes items from all three major professional teams in North Carolina and the Quakers. The following items are up for auction:
A Raymond Felton-autographed mini-basketball with a bonus Charlotte Bobcats fan pack (includes t-shirt, water bottle, and pennant).
A Thomas Davis-autographed official NFL football from the Carolina Panthers
A Tim Gleason-autographed hockey puck from the Carolina Hurricanes
An autographed framed team poster from the Quakersâ€™ menâ€™s basketball team
Items from the silent auction can be paid by cash or checks payable to Guilford College. The silent auction will run from the open of the door until the 16-minute mark of the second half.
