In memory of Mr. Rosevelt Robinson: We miss “The Man”…

(Special note attached from one of Mr. Robinson’s grandchildren.)

We did a post a couple of years back about Mr. Rosevelt Robinson, who used to operate the Robinson’s Restaurant up town, along with his wife Frieda and his family.

A great man, a super father and well-loved grandfather. He loved the game of baseball and always had time to talk to anyone that came into the Robinson’s Restaurant up town near the old North State Chevrolet…..

We got a note today from one of Mr. Robinson’s grandchildren and here is that note from OneGrandChild:

i am one of Mr.Robinsons GrandChildren.

It is now April 18th 2010. tommorow will be the day that my grandfather was declared dead i am 12 years old now and i will love him and remeber him Forever. The one thing we shared is when i used to make him laugh while we ate candy until MY stomach started to hurt. It seemed like he could eat forever exspecially at Ms. Winners where he got a tea everyday .

I love u Grandpa.
