Competition site of the 2011 NCAA III Men’s Golf Championship

The Greensboro Sports Commission in partnership with Guilford College is
pleased to welcome Ohio Wesleyan University and the 20th Annual Gordin
Classic to Greensboro for our Fall Preview Tournament to be played at
the Grandover Resort, host site of the NCAA Division III Men’s Golf
Championship May 10-13, 2011. The Gordin Collegiate Classic annually
matches the best NCAA Division III Men’s Golf teams in one of the
nation’s most prestigious small-college tournaments. The tournament is
named after longtime Ohio Wesleyan coach Dr. Richard Gordin, and
dedicated this year to the memory of Jack Jensen, a GCAA Hall of Fame
coach who passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2010. Details
including entry fee, local accommodations, event schedule and commitment
deadline are provided with the formal letter of invitation. This will
be a 36 hole tournament with a practice round and a complimentary
cookout at the historic Sedgefield Country Club, home of the PGA’s
Wyndham Championship.
