from the writers at the www.pressdemocrat.com on Keenan Allen from Northern Guilford:
Cal has not seen a stunning athlete like Allen since DeSean Jackson was flashing around the turf of Memorial Stadium. Allen is bigger than Jackson — he’s 6-foot-3 — and he’s Cal’s first impact big receiver since Sean Dawkins, 6-foot-4, was dazzling people in the early 1990s.
After his first touchdown, Allen scored one more TD. He could have scored 1,000 but Coach Tedford took him out, along with other starters, as a gesture of civility toward Davis. On the first drive of the third quarter, Allen caught a short pass from QB Riley and, what did you expect, ran 48 yards into the end zone while faking out/sprinting past five defenders.
