Mike Shaw(formerly of Wilmington, N.C.), died of a heart at attack at age 53 on Saturday, according to Slam Wrestling. Shaw had a successful run in the Calgary Stampede promotion while working as Makhan Sing. He had a run with WWE as Bastion Booger, and worked in WCW as Norman The Lunatic and Norman The Trucker. Jason Powell’s(Pro Wrestling.Net) POV: Shaw was a top heel for the Calgary Stampede promotion. His mainstream characters were campy, but he was a strong heel on the Calgary tapes I watched back at the time. The Slam Wrestling story also noted that Shaw played pro softball for the Milwaukee Schlitz before he started his pro wrestling career.
