Trips right: Honors come three times for Greensboro College football

Brian Green (Stuart, FL/Martin County), Rodney Beasley (Condor, NC/East Montgomery), and Kall Daniel (Brookville, FL/Hernando) of Greensboro College earned weekly conference football awards, the USA South announced today.

Football Defensive Player of the Week
Brian Green (Stuart, FL/Martin County), a senior defensive lineman, accumulated 12 total tackles in a 22-19 victory over USA South rival Methodist. Green tallied eight solo tackles and four assisted stops, including 3.5 tackles for a total loss of 17 yards and two sacks.

Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Rodney Beasley (Condor, NC/East Montgomery), a junior, returned a kickoff 90 yards in a 22-19 win over USA South foe Methodist. Beasley
Kall Danielreturned three kickoffs for a total of 121 yards. He also added two tackles and one rush for six yards in the win.

Football Offensive Rookie of the Week
Kall Daniel (Brookville, FL/Hernando), a freshman quarterback, totaled 237 yards of total offense in a 22-19 win over USA South foe Methodist. Daniel was 16-for-34 passing with 181 yards and one touchdown. Additionally, he ran the ball 16 times for 56 yards, a 3.5 yard average in the win.

The Pride closes the year with a game vs. Shenandoah on Saturday. Kickoff is 1 p.m. at Jamieson Stadium.
