  1. The sad part is that the ORMA game may be better than the UNCG game. In fact, it could be debated if ORMA could beat UNCG. Even worst is the fact that I would consider paying $10 to see ORMA play but not even think twice about paying $5 to see UNCG play. UNCG and the Greensboro Coliseum appear to have no clue how to promote the UNCG boys basketball program. Maybe it’s not the responsible of the Coliseum but it is clear that UNCG has zero clue to how promote itself.

I hope ORMA gets a nice crowd to support the gentleman on the court.

  2. I was thinking about going to the OR game until I read the stupid post by ORMAvsUNCG. What a moron. I wouldn’t give money to support that program even if I was as rich as big stan.

  3. This would be a great event if ten or fifteen bucks allowed you to see both the Oak Ridge and UNC-G games but to have to pay twice after paying to park and buy the overpriced concessions is crazy.

  4. There will be an unveiling of the new Oak Ridge Military Academy logo at Sunday’s game. The K will be 10 times larger than the other letters.

  5. To ORsuk:
#1 – I am not a ORMA backer or “fan”. I simply made a point that you cannot deny. The ORMA team has move of a following and fan base not connected directly to the school than UNCG in this city.
#2 – If you were to write an article on this site or even the News & Record, I would assure you that the ORMA story would have more readers when it comes to basketball than a story about UNCG basketball. In fact, Northern or Dudley would also create more readers just like ORMA.
#3 – I am a graduate of UNCG and I am continously disappointed with the lack of promotion that the school gives to the team within the community to create fans and a good following at the gate.

I will give ORMA all the credit in the world for being good at promoting their causes through out the area. UNCG should learn from what ORMA has done and will be doing when it comes to marketing their product.

  6. Forget uncg, let em play Guilford College! no doubt this year they would SPANK em! all in fun and makes for good reading, everyone calm down!
