  1. Just curious Andy. Why is River Mill on Greensboro Sports.com when their an Alamance County team playing a school from Durham?

  2. They play some of the teams on our area and they send us the info and we are more than happy to give them the exposure…..You send, you close, we print….And are glad to do it…It seems like basketball is a universal sport…..

  3. Andy – your answer to “baller 1” should have been the same answer that Jordan was once quoted on when asked (in so many words) – “why didn’t you speak out against the Jesse Helms remarked attacking Harvey Gnatt during the senate race”. Keep in mind this was back in the 1990’s. Jordan said “because Republicians buy shoes also”.

I don’t want you to sell out to “the man” in the same way that Jordan did but you could have given a similar answer such as “because Alamance Co reads our site also”, “because Alamance Co readers buy in the same stores as my sponsors/ad companies”, or maybe even “because my first girl friend was from Alamance Co”.

Anyway – I am sure you will stick with the company line “you send, you close , we print” but you have my alternative options if ever needed 🙂 .

  4. Good points and with today’s schedule I might be hitting the answer a bit lame, but this day is starting to get real busy and I’m not Jim Rome or Ryan Sechrest by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m Out……

  5. Several former girls basketball players from River Mill are now playing in the Triad area (Salem, Greensboro College). Also, there have (and may still be….not 100% sure) students who live in Guilford County and attend River Mill.
