No games today or tomorrow, at least that is the case for the public schools with exams going on Monday, Tuesday and then ending on Wednesday of this week…
Big one today already listed here at the site is Kiser at Mendenhall in Middle School boys basketball action with a start time of 6pm….
On Wednesday we have Grimsley at Page with girls at 6:30 and boys at 8pm…Frank Eaves should be back for Page and the first boys meeting had Grimsley taking the contest 72-67 at Grimsley, but James Summers went on a tear for Page in the second half of that game, especially getting to the foul line, where I think he was something like 12-14 in half number two….Burrell Brown has to settle his Grimsley troops…..Paris Kea might be ready to make her return for the Page girls and Brittany Drew, Kayla Johnson and others have her back and they will be glad to see the young freshman back with the Pirates….Tiana Bowden, Susan Rich and the tall-one Roxanne Henshall have plans to steal one on the road at Page on Wednesday night…..
Thursday night has Northern Guilford at Eastern Guilford with 6pm girls and 7:30 for the boys….Sam Coffer leads NG into Wildcat Country to face Miranda Jenkins and Tina Gunn’s girls…..EG won the first meeting at Northern….EG-NG boys is a toss-up going in, but EG boys have been pointing to this game for a LONG time….
Friday night has High Point Wesleyan at Greensboro Day School with Keith Gatlin, former Maryland Terrapin star bringing his Trojans over to GDS to face the Bengals…..Montay Brandaon, Jaquel Richmond, Deng Leek, Cade Isley and others on the way for HPW….
