Coach of the Year
What a relief to see that finally number 24 and number 20 didn’t
make the list above. Honestly, without their team mates they wouldn’t have gotten what they did.
No offense, But why is Megaland Buckland on the first team all state? Yes, Bishop Mcguiness won the state championship, but she did not have a great year after coming off knee surgery. If Carolina had pulled the scholarship because of injury, would she still have been nominated? Seem like when Whitney Knight was not going to Duke any longer and yet her numbers were about even as last year, it seemed like the sports writers soured on her.
By the way, what ever happen to Katherine Lyons and Erin Thompson formerly of Bishop Mcguiness, were they not All State players as well as Players of the year?
