Former Ragsdale Tigers, Sparks(Richmond Spiders) along with Stone and Sonricker(Campbell Camels) shine today in Spring Football Games…

All three of these young men are former Ragsdale Tigers and they played for Coach Tommy Norwood, in Jamestown….

On the field today in Richmond, Virginia, Walt Sparks(LB/LS) was the second leading tackler in the Richmond Spiders’ spring game today with 9 tackles.

The Defense owned the afternoon. Rising sophomore LB Eric Wright finished with a game-high 12 tackles and knocked down two passes, while sophomore LB Walt Sparks had nine stops. Rising junior S Cooper Taylor, who transferred from Georgia Tech this winter, had three tackles with two for loss. The defense won and they prevailed in the game over the offense, taking the bragging rights of Spring, 54-26, with a modified scoring system….Click on the Richmond link to see more….

In the Spring Game at Campbell with Billy Stone(LB) and Luke Sonricker(WR), Sonricker was named the most improved wide receiver. Campbell recognized the players in each position that they felt had made the most improvement since the end of last season. Billy Stone had at least 3 tackles and 1 was behind the line of scrimmage.
