  1. I agree with everybody else about hardin. He has no location and his arm motion doesn’t even help him. His ball is also flat( I know from experience, I hit a homer off of him earlier in the year)

  2. I thought this thread was about Oak Ridge. Big win for Oak Ridge over Glenn. And Glenn had Pearl on the mound for them.

56, ever pitcher who pitches long enough will give up a HR. Doesn’t make him a bad pitcher. We saw Hardin, when he’s on his ball has plenty of movement. Lay off the kid. Maybe we should discuss how many times you struck out?

  3. I saw Hardin earlier this year and he was tough…..He went into extra innings against Southeast Guilford and put his team in the postion to win the game versus a very tough SEG Falcon team….He’s only lost one game all year and I’m sure there have been players to hit some HR’s off of him, but in the end, their team still lost the game….Shutt(SEG), Hardin(NG), Sharpe(Burlington Williams) and Kimber(Dudley)….They have been the top pitchers in the area so far this year…..Pearl at Glenn is very tough, so in my opinion, a big win for ORMA last night and Haack at NWG is solid and the entire staff at NEG has had an outstanding year….The wins are pretty spread out at NEG with Paula on top and he is one of the best around so far this year with his teammates very close with Davis, Phillips, Caleb McCann, Colon and Millaway…..NEG may have the top team in the State…They have been ranked #1 3-A for most of the year…..

  6. Andy, I have to disagree with your earlier comment about the top pitchers in the area. Need to look at Olczak at Wesleyan, Hixson at Wesleyan, Haack and Everett at NWG, Orth at SWG, Morrison at HPCA, Paula at NEG. you did mention Pearl at Glenn and Kimber at Dudley and Shutt but you left off many dominant guys. And that doesn’t count the Partin road show at FCD in Winston-Salem. Carter, Griffin, Cuthberson are dominant. I may have left one off but those are your dominant guys.

  7. Another one that was left out was the sophomore kid at Glenn, he has been more dominant than Pearl.

  8. Good comments. I’m always looking for more input on the players…..The private schools don’t send us much so we can always use more info on them…..Other than Pearl, very little has been said about the Glenn staff…..FCD has been one school that has started sending us reports so more kudos to them….

  9. Andy- Oak Ridge Military is now 12-11 with a 5 game win streak heading to West Brunswick, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for The Brunswick Easter Tourney.
