  1. I am so proud of this team. No one gave them a shot at making it to the finals. The week was physically, mentally and emotionally draining for all that were involved. 9 perimeter players versus big and I mean big 10 year olds every game! All heart! I would like to thank the community for supporting our team. Several people in the area offered places to practice, raise money or gave their time to the team. Great parents + Great kids = Great AAU Experience. What a season!!! I wish parents, kids and coaches could experience the season that we had this year.

  2. The parents are the most important part of the equation. If they have a level head and act like adults, it can be a great experience. If they are helicopter parents and think their children are the best, it can be a terrible experience. I am happy for you that you had a great experience because you have about a 50-50 chance of being a part of something good.
