Special Occasion Band (SOB), www.onegreatband.com is performing this Thursday,
October 6th, at Ilderton’s Beach Blast in High Point, NC.
Gary Warren, ECU alumnus and lead singer/sax player for Special Occasion Band
(making him the lead SOB) has made available a designated space for all ECU
faithfuls attending Ilderton’s Beach Blast to congregate and socialize
(ie.TAILGATE).
For those who don’t know, Ilderton’s Beach Blast is a HUGE FUNraiser event helping
raise $$ for NC Children’s Home Society (http://www.chsnc.org/Ildertons.html) and
held each fall in the Uptown area of High Point, NC. (follow Main Street past
Eastchester/Westchester intersection and just before Lexington).
ECU graduate & alumnus, Tim Ilderton (Ilderton’s Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep of High Point)
is the lead sponsor of this 5 week event.
Ilderton’s Beach Blast features the best Carolina Beach Music bands, including Craig
Woolard Band (CWB), the Embers, Part-Time Party-Time Band, the Band of OZ (BOZ),
wrapping up with Special Occasion Band (SOB).
Wear your PURPLE & GOLD and come on out to celebrate fall this Thursday, October 6.
Gates open @ 5:30 pm with Special Occasion Band (SOB) starting @ 6:00 pm.
$5.00 entry fee with beer/wine scripts for sale.
Look for the PIRATE TAILGATE TENT!!!!!
