Page High School “Pirates” played the Reynolds HS “Demons” in a NCFHA non-conference field hockey game this evening at 5:45pm with Reynolds hosting.
Page lost in regulation 1-3 to Reynolds. The Demons scored the first goal in the 5th minute with the Pirates equalizing in the 11th minute with a goal by forward Caroline Yarbrough. The first half remained tied at 1-1 with an even exchange of possession.
In the second half the Demons went ahead with a goal in the 37th minute and added to their lead in the 57th minute to win the game by a score of 3-1.
The Pirates defense did an excellent job of thwarting the repeated attacks by the Demons.

– Page had 0 Penalty Corner and 5 shots on goal.
– Reynolds were awarded an unusually large number of Penalty Corners – 23 and had 12 shots on goal.
– Allison Lizotte in goal for the Pirates had a stellar performance with 8 saves.
