On to the Championship Game for Carter Smith(Grimsley HS) and the Randolph College Wildcats

Carter Smith(Grimsley High School) and his soccer teammates of Randolph College have made it to the ODAC Championship match based on their semi-final win last night against
Virginia Wesleyan, 2-1, in double OT.

Currently riding a 5 game winning streak, they have set numerous team records this season including most wins ever, 15, as well as their 1st appearance in the ODAC finals in the 5 years history of the program. Carter Smith(Keeper) had 7 saves in last nights match facing a total of 17 shots.

They’ll play the winner of tonight’s other semi final match of Lynchburg vs. Eastern
Mennonite. If Lynchburg College wins, the finals will be played at Randolph based on
them being the higher seed this coming Saturday night.

You have to be very proud of our local talent for the accomplishments he’s
had this year during his sophomore year as well as the entire Randolph College
Wildcats…

*****Great job Carter Smith(Grimsley HS) and keep on representing our city(Greensboro) and county(Guilford) well…..*****
