Clemmons cool, calm and collecting as she becomes a leader for Furman as a freshman

Info from Furman Paladins web site…..

Natalie Clemmons(Northern Guilford High School), a freshman at Furman Univeristy in Greenville, South Carolina, received a scholarship to play softball there and that is exactly what she has been doing.

Battle of South Carolina:

In her first college softball game this Fall, she got 2 hits against the University of South Carolina Gamecocks, had two stolen bases and scored a run. Furman defeated the Gamecocks 3 to 0.

Furman a Division I school in the Southern Conference has a challenging softball schedule playing the likes of Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky and USC Gamecocks next season. The Southern Conference part of the Paladins schedule should also be tough too.

All but USC were in the World Series playoffs last year. Should be fun to watch
next season as we hit 2012.
