Lots of Big Four ACC basketball games this Friday and one of those will feature former Page Pirate big man Julius Brooks returing to the Triad, along with his Loyola(Maryland) Greyhound teammates, to face the Wake Forest Demon Deacons at the Joel Coliseum, in Winston-Salem….Wake has former Mount Tabor Spartan C.J. Harris, a guard, on their roster and I still remember a night when we were at the old Beef O’Brady’s on North Elm Street and we had both Julius and C.J. on one of our Greensborosports.com basketball shows, featuring the McDonalds All-American nominees…..Juluis Brooks, C.J. Harris, Mike Grace(Mount Tabor), Will Carpenter(Mount Tabor), Jarius Simms(North Forsyth) and the big man from Greensboro Day was there, Javon Mitchell…..

Also on Friday, the ACC gets going big time in hoops, with the Big Four bringing North Carolina-Michigan State on to the aircraft carrier in San Diego, you have Duke hosting Belmont and N.C. State welcomes in UNC-Asheville……
