At the beginning of the College Basketball Season, the Greensboro Sports Commission, the Greensboro Sports Council and Greensboro Coliseum host the “Tom Ward Annual Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon.” Each each, local colleges and universities basketball coaches are invited to introduce themselves and this year’s program to the media and others.
