High Point Christian opened the season with a decisive 92-37 home win over The Canon School. HPCA held a 32-9 lead after the 1st quarter and never looked back. Senior Michael Obacha led the team with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Obacha will play for Appalachian State next season. Junior Chuck Ogbodo had 12 points and 15 rebounds. HPCA’s next game is Tuesday at home against Caldwell Academy.
