Jeff Smouse took over the Athens Drive Jaguar program in 2005. He led Raleigh Athens Drive to its most successful football season in school history in 2007, posting an 11-2 overall record and 6-1 in the Tri-8 4-A Conference.
This past season, the Jags recorded a 5-7 overall record, falling in the first round of the state playoffs.
While at Athens Drive, Smouse compiled a 45-38 overall record.
