Allen Stallings Represents Greensboro College Pride in All-Star Games, Earns MVP at National Bowl

(GREENSBORO, N.C.) – Senior Greensboro College linebacker Allen Stallings was recently selected to participate in two postseason All-Star games. Stallings played in the Second Annual National Bowl Game on December 4 in Allentown, PA, where he earned the distinction of Defensive Most Valuable Player, and will represent The Pride again on December 9 in the Division III Football Senior Classic in Salem, VA.
The senior from Manteo, NC re-wrote nearly every major tackle record in the school record book this year, including, total career tackles, career unassisted tackles, career assisted tackles, single game tackles and single season tackles. For his efforts, he was also named to the USA South All-Conference First Team, as voted upon by the coaches.

As one of the only Division III representatives at the National Bowl, Stallings racked up nine tackles, two sacks, three tackles for loss, three quarterback hurries, and two pass deflections while leading his Blue Nation squad to a victory. The National Bowl is the the only All Divisions game where elite players from Division I, II and III compete together.

The Division III Football Senior Classic, meanwhile, is the only game dedicated to showcase the top Division III seniors in the country. Overall, 90 players from 238 programs were selected to compete in the North vs. South all-star format. Scouts from the NFL, CFL, UFL, IFL, CDFL and the PADFL (Poland) will be invited to attend the three-day event.
