The Green Bay Packers are fund raising again – I guess that is the best way of putting it. They are selling shares again. For $250 per share and a $25 handling fee, you can buy a share of the Green Bay Packers. You do get a Share Certificate; a vote at the annual meeting (a vote that really isn’t that great since it can be over-ruled by the board) and the opportunity to buy “exclusive” owner merchandise.
You can only own 200 shares, so don’t go thinking of a big power play. You can buy your share(s) at Packers Owner. You should really read all the fine print; you might enjoy a jersey instead.
