The Cowboys of Southwest traveled to go play the Rams of Northeast Guilford. The
Cowboys forgot to bring the basketball team. After scoring the first bucket of the
game, and even going up 12-6, the visitors disappeared. The Rams used a 7-0 run to
take the lead just before the end of the first frame 13-12. Uncharacteristic
turnovers and sloppy play doomed the Cowboys as they were out-hustled, out-
executed, and just plain out-played. With the ugly loss the Cowboys fall from the
ranks of the undefeated and fall to 4-1. Southwest was paced by Jordan Hanner, and
Quincy Williams’ 11 points apiece. Northeast was lead by Jesse Simpson’s 18 and
Donovan Gilmore’s 14 points.
