Women’s Soccer Earns NSCAA Academic Team Award

The Greensboro College women’s soccer team was one of 790 men’s and women’s teams, at all levels of the NCAA, to earn the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award. The Pride posted a cumulative grade point average of 3.31.

“I am proud of our team this past year,” said head coach Ian Spooner. “They have strived hard to standout in the classroom and to have achieved a team average GPA of 3.31 is awesome. Being one of the top academic teams on campus is one of the team goals we have and this has helped us reach our goal.”

To be eligible for the award, teams were required to maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Greensboro finished its season on the field with an overall record of 11-6-1.
