Check in with the Carolina Cheetahs tonight and Sunday

Greetings Triad friends and fans,

Join the Cheetahs this weekend for their “Gifts for Kids Weekend” Saturday
(12/17) @ 7:30 pm and Sunday (12/18) @ 5pm. This upcoming weekend’s festivities
are in support of Fox 8 Gifts for Kids Campaign in aid of The Salvation Armies of
the Triad.

Gifts for Kids Weekend of Festivities: The weekend’s festivities commence with a
Basketball Skills Clinic at UNCG’s Fleming Gymnasium. This skills training and
development clinic is for boys and girls in kindergarten to sixth grade. It takes
place Saturday, December 17th from 12:30 to 3:00pm. The cost is only $10 and
includes 2 free game tickets (value $20) to our home games. The Saturday, December
17 game against Norfolk Tru Hope Trailblazers will feature the Salvation Army’s
mascot Sally-Ann and High Point Central High School Pep Band. Tipoff is 7:30. The
following home game on Sunday, December 18 against the Lynchburg Legends. Come
enjoy entertainment provided by Carver High School Marching Band and the New
Goshen Praise Dancers. The Cheetahs have also partnered with Stampede to Read for
the season who will be giving away books for the kids. In addition, fans will get a
chance to win a FREE NOOK Tablet in a drawing. Tipoff is 5:00. We are asking each
fan to bring a new, unwrapped, unopened gift for donation. Each fan that brings a
toy will receive game admission for only $5. Kids (ages 5-12) who bring a toy will
be admitted FREE!! All students with a valid ID are only $5. I hope to see you
