North Carolina’s top HS football player to become a Bulldog:Tarboro’s Todd Gurley headed to Georgia

Looks like the Georgia and the SEC are loading up on players from this state….Gurley and Marshall to Georgia, the kicker and kid from Raleigh Broughton(Shelley) at NCAA Champ Alabama, Brock Stadnik(WG) to South Carolina, D.J. Humphries(Mallard Creek) to Florida, the DE Jonathan Bullard from Crest, to Florida….and on we go….

Tarboro High School running back Todd Gurley announced his decision on Friday to play college football at the University of Georgia. He joins another Triangle-area running back standout, Keith Marshall of Raleigh Millbrook.

According to ESPN, the Gurley had narrowed his choices to the University of North Carolina, North Carolina State University, Georgia and Clemson.
