BOTH the girls and the boys games tonight between Smith and Dudley were very exciting coming down to the final seconds of the game…but loving the Golden Eagles….also congratulations to Tracy Gathings for being recognized for scoring 1000 pts in his high school career. I have been following Smith athletics for about8 years and dont remember a player being reconized for this accomplishment. You should do well at the next level..i have seenyour game improve over the years!
Congratulation Tracy!!! Continue to work hard on the court and even harder in the classroom. There will be no stopping you on the next level and in life! Congratulations!
Congrats to a really good player. Good win for the Eagles last night.
I think you’ve got that right…Very good observation, with these two games for the Smith-Dudley boys and girls, they to have to have been the best games in the area last night, with both contests being three point finishes….Let me add to the recognition for Tracy Gathings…..Congratulations on reaching the 1000 point mark in your career and great work on both ends of the floor, with your scoring and your all-important rebounding……
Good games last night and thanks again to Coach Rodney Brewington for getting us into the house at Smith for the games…..Good job young men and woemn from Smith and Dudley……
Congrats Tracy !!!! You are a great player with a good attitude. Great win Golden Eagles. I must say the Tarheels were well represented KM, PJ, RB and M. Williams the freshman QB and of course Ebron. Good to see you guys at Smith.
Kendall Marshall, Reggie Bullock, Marquise Williams, along with P.J. and Eric Ebron, you are right, that is impressive…..I was there a couple of years ago at one of the games and they had Ed Davis, Will Graves Sean May and a bunch of then-current and former Tar Heels at Smith for the Dudley game checking in…..
GOOD STUFF!
Gathings for player of the year in Guilford County.
Dudley vs Smith has been the basketball rivalry ever since I was in school back in the late 60’s til 1970. Got to catch both jv and varsity games, great atmosphere at both. Dudley this year are missing quite a few players that have transfered out, with them they’d be “the kings of the court” in G- county. Smith is quite an interesting and and very talented group of young men. The next Page vs Smith will be a must see. Congrats to both group of young student athletes from both schools, hats off to both coaching staffs to a very entertaining game.Grimsley just don’t have the players as in the past, tuff season, but they give their all, keep on coaching coach C, every dog will have it’s day!
