To re-cap and close out the night, I would say these four scores were the tops of the night, when it comes to Wild and Crazy endings/finishes/results and we may need to try and rank them 1-4…..(Just the way it worked out, but all all boys games tonight….
#1 Wesleyan 61-56 over High Point Christian….First loss of the year for the HPCA Cougars(23-1) and WES had not been playing all that great, but they were right tonight…..On HPCA, I was wondering the same thing that I had read earlier, where was Chuck Ogbodo tonight….I didn’t see him in the box…He was a monster for the Cougars in the win at GDS…..
#2 Grimsley topped Page 57-56……First conference loss of the year for the Pirates now (7-1)……Luke Bouknight becomes a household within the confines of Whirlie homeowners…..
#3 Western Guilford takes down Smith in OT, 62-58….Jeff Mosley missed maybe one game for the Hornets, but since he has come back, he has come back with a vengence….Tracy Gathings had 27 for Smith, but not enough help when they added up the final….
#4 North Forsyth got past Asheboro 53-51….No details on this one, but it is big for the Mid-Piedmont 3-A Conference, of which Northeast Guilford is a member, as North Forsyth Vikings stay unbeaten in conference and they just took down 18-2 Asheboro for the second time this season….Both Asheboro losses were to NF, wow!
