There is usually a held ball when Guilford County Schools don’t have school in session, but if the other counties where our schools are set to play are in session, then it can be games on….I would think NO GAMES IN GUILFORD COUNTY TONIGHT, but as for the games on the road, here is what we have so far….Special permission has been granted by the GCS Athletic Department, to allow the games to go on tonight….
TONIGHT:
Southeast Guilford Girls will play at Mount Tabor 6:30 pm….
Southeast Guilford Boys will play at Green Hope 7:30 pm……
PAGE Pirates:Both the women’s (away @ Sun Valley @ 6:00 pm) and men’s (home vs. Rocky River, game at 7:00 pm) will play tonight.
Northwest Guilford HS will host both the girls and boys from East Forsyth tonight in the 1st Round of the NCHSAA state basketball playoffs. Girls will play at 6pm and Boys at 7:30pm.
High Point Central, Southwest Guilford and Northeast Guilford games are all on for tonight….SWG boys and girls:SWGHS WILL PLAY BASKETBALL TONIGHT (MONDAY, FEB. 20TH)

High Point Andrews will play tonight. Women will play at 6 vs. Cedar Ridge High and the Men will play at 7:30 vs. East Bladen.

Officials at Northern Guilford, Southern Guilford and Eastern Guilford have already announced that their scheduled games tonight are postponed. Most are expected to be made up Tuesday night, with the state playoffs’ second round scheduled to be played on Wednesday.

i heard the high point andrews will be playing both games tonight @ home… They are a guilford county school. is there any truth to this? any word on the other games IN GCS?? page? dudley?

Guilford County approved teams to play tonight. Both the boys & girls of SWG will play tonight.
Why would the administrators at these schools (Northern, Southern and Eastern) not allow their own basketball teams to play tonight??
Because of this, (if they win tomorrow night) they are putting the kids in the position of playing two nights in a row against teams that have had a day off.
The teams that are playing tonight apparently have adminstrators who want their kids to win.
Do Northern, Southern and Eastern administrators really back their team when they make a call like this???
