No. 6 Seed Randolph College To Host No. 11 Roanoke In ODAC Tournament First Round Game Tuesday

LYNCHBURG, VA – The Randolph College men’s basketball team has played 25 regular season game and 16 conference contests thus far this season. The WildCats will host one more Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. against Roanoke College in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament first round.

Randolph, which finished sixth with a 7-9 record in the conference, will play host to the Maroons for the second time this season. Roanoke earned a 62-59 win over the WildCats in the Randolph Athletics and Dance (RAD) Center back on January 18.

The winner of the contest will take on No. 3 Guilford College in Salem, VA at the Salem Civic Center Friday evening at 8 p.m. The winner of that contest would play in the conference semifinals Saturday evening at 8 p.m.

This is the first time the WildCats have ever hosted a first round ODAC game, and marks the third occasion Randolph has played in the ODAC Tournament first round. Last year, the WildCats made it to the ODAC Championship game as the No. 5 seed, its first title game appearance in program history.

Tickets for the game will be sold for five dollars to adults and will be available at the doors starting at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening. College students with an ID and children college aged and below will be admitted for free.
