Scholarship Mardi Gras Parade Tuesday

Omega Psi Phi Scholarship Parade

Every year Omega Psi Phi holds a Mardi Gras function to raise money for scholarships for local school kids. They send an average of 10 students to college every year.

This year the Carolina Cheetahs will be participating in their third annual Fat Tuesday Mardi Gras parade on Tuesday February 21st to aid in this great initiative. Part of our community mission is to assist students with scholarships.

The parade will start at 7pm on the corner of Spring Street and 4th downtown Winston Salem. Come join your Carolina Cheetahs and support this great initiative to give back to our community.

Remember, Carolina Cheetahs CARE!

About the Carolina Cheetahs Professional Basketball Team:
The Carolina Cheetahs ABA organization is a local expansion franchise who began play in the 2011 season. The organization is dedicated to providing affordable, family-fun entertainment to the community; in addition to providing local athletes an opportunity to play on a professional level. The Carolina Cheetahs represent the greater Piedmont Triad communities of Greensboro, Winston Salem, and High Point. The organization gives back to its community in many ways by partnering with local non-profits, visiting and mentoring at local schools, providing charities with fundraising opportunities, and eventually by providing empowerment camps for children and their parents and classes on financial freedom. The Cheetahs are one of three teams owned by the Carolina Cats Sports & Entertainment Group Inc, the other two being the Raleigh-based Carolina Jaguars and the Rocky Mount-based Carolina Cougars.
