There will be a BIG Celebration this Sunday to showcase 25 years of the Greensboro Batting Center and now it is just THREE DAYS away:Coming up this Sunday at the GBC!
Many names from the past and all of the current regulars will surface/re-surface again this Sunday, for the 25th Anniversary Celebration……Add your name to the list and be a part of Greensboro baseball history, when the ‘Celebration’ begins at 1pm this Sunday, at the GBC……We may see some of the former customers and owner/operators of the ‘Cards at the Cages’, always a popular part/section of the Greensboro Batting Center….There was Randy and maybe Shane from over the years that I remember and there have been others that held down that fort too, inside the GBC……Baseball Cards, Batting Gloves, Bats, Hitting Lessons, Overall game instructions, Time spent hitting in the cages whether it be softball or baseball, there have been some great days and nights at the Greensboro Batting Center(GBC), over the past 25 years…….First on Creekridge Road, then at the Golden Gate Shopping Center and now in the Westgate Shopping Center on High Point Road…..GBC has been the place to be in Greensboro, if you had a love for the game…..
THIS SUNDAY GBC(Greensboro Batting Center) CELEBRATES 25th ANNIVERSARY this Sunday from 1-6pm….
It will be the big 25th Anniversary Celebration going on this coming Sunday February 26, at the Greensboro Batting Center on High Point Road, in the Westgate Shopping Center….
The big day/big event will feature FREE refreshments, Raffle Giveaways, UNBELIEVABLE/Unheard of Token Prices and the FIRST 100 People in the door, get a FREE GBC(Greensboro Batting Center) Gift….
Come celebrate the GBC’s 25th Anniversary this Sunday February 26 from 1-6pm inside the Greensboro Batting Center, 3917 High Point Road, in the Westgate Shopping Center….
Some of the history on the GBC:
The Greensboro Batting Center is the longest running indoor baseball and softball training facility in the United States. Alan Ashkinazy opened the Greensboro Batting Center in February of 1987. Twenty-five years, 3 different locations, and 2 expansions later the Greensboro Batting Center is stronger than ever. The GBC is a full service baseball and softball training facility that offers a wide variety of services from individual instruction, baseball and softball hitting cages, uniform and equipment sales, glove repair, and nationally ranked travel teams.
