Ragsdale Baseball Summary on Tigers-Wheatmore from this afternoon

Ragsdale scored the winning run in the bottom of the sixth without the
benefit of a hit, taking advantage of two errors by the Wheatmore second
baseman to plate the run.

Sophomore Tim Ambrosa picked up the win pitching two innings in relief of
starter Matt Horkey. Ambrosa gave up one hit and struck out two. Horkey
pitched four + innings, giving up four runs (three earned), four hits and
striking out two. Mitch Carstens pitched a perfect seventh inning to get
the save as he struck out two in the inning.

The Tigers had five hits as Carstens and Kyle Morrison had back to back
doubles in the first inning to score the season’s first run with Morrison
picking up the RBI. Joe Pantuso also had a double and scored a run.

Jason Ozment got the start for Wheatmore and went three innings giving up
five hits and three runs while striking out six. Devon Hollbrook pitched
the final three innings and suffered the loss as he gave up two unearned
runs. Hollbrook also struck out six batters. Trey Byrd had a single and
two RBI’s for the Warriors.
