MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – Autumn Carter, a Elon University women’s basketball signee for the 2012-13 season, has been selected to play in the North Carolina/South Carolina All-Star Women’s Basketball Classic on Friday, March 16.
Carter, a 6-5 forward from Rockingham County High School, led the Lady Cougars to the 3-A state playoffs this season and an 18-10 record. Carter averaged 18.0 points per game as a senior to go along with 11.0 boards and 2.3 steals per game. Carter ended her career at RCHS with 1,356 points.
Elon’s Sam Coffer, Kelsey Harris, Ali Ford, Kelsey Evans and Lei Lei Hairston also played in the North Carolina/South Carolina All-Star Women’s Basketball Classic as senior prep stars.
The game is scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. tip at Myrtle Beach High School in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
