‘Between the Lines’ with High School Baseball Tonight

The real, real busy days are Tuesdays and Fridays, but tonight looks pretty active too as we go through the Wednesday lineup…..

High Point Central at Southern Guilford 5pm
Reidsville at Southwest Guilford(6-0) 5pm
High Point Andrews at Page 6pm
Northwest Guilford at North Davidson 6pm
Durham Hillside at Dudley 7pm
Grimsley at Burlington Williams 6pm…..I think this will be the game where they will honor and commemorate Harry Cohen, the former Burlington Williams football and baseball player, that died this past fall…..
Northeast Guilford at Western Alamance 7pm….NEG has WA today and SEG tomorrow…..
Morehead at Western Guilford 7pm
Woodberry Forest at Westchester Country Day 7pm

Tonight is “Harry Cohen Night”. We will be honoring Harry before and throughout the
night. This will be very special night for our high school. Thanks for keeping us

  1. HP Central – 4 SG – 2 (8 innings) Very good game between two young teams. The two starting pitchers (Edwards for SG and Wilson for HPC) both pitched very well. Keep your eyes on both of these teams in the future — each program has some quality young players. WP – Davis LP – Shackelford

  2. Evan Edwards for Southern Guilford is a freshman who started his first high school game on the mound tonight. He left the game after five innings with the score tied 1-1. Great job pitching, he bats in the three spot with a good stick and is a stand out first baseman. You will here a lot about this kid thru 2015.
