More Honors Roll in for Elon¹s Isenbarger

ELON, N.C. – Elon’s Jack Isenbarger was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division I All-District second team, recognizing the nation’s best men’s collegiate student-athletes. The 240 student-athletes, from 24 districts, are now eligible for the NABC Coaches Division I All-America teams, which will be announced on Tuesday, March 20.

Isenbarger averaged a team-best 14.5 points per game during his sophomore year, including 17.3 against Southern Conference foes. He scored in double figures 21 times, scoring 20 or more on eight occasions. The sophomore guard dumped in a career-high 34 points on 11-of-16 shooting in a win over The Citadel and hit five or more three-pointers in a game six times. The sharpshooter ended the season with 73 triples, a mark that ranked fourth on Elon’s single season list. Isenbarger is listed seventh in the school’s career chart with 133 three-pointers in two seasons. He was recently named SoCon Player of the Month in February and was recognized on the all-conference team by both the coaches and the media.
