Shining Light started out slow but took a 2-0 lead after 3 innings of play.
In the 4th inning Triad Home School answered back by putting up 4 in the inning taking a 4-2 lead, then Shining Light answered back with 2 more runs in the bottom of the 4th tying the game at 4-4. Shining Knight held Triad Home School scoreless in the 5th inning and came in and put up 5 in the bottom. Caleb Webster led off the inning with a walk and then stole 2nd. Chase McNeill came up and hit a double to right center field to plate Webster. Paul Corner would then come up and double to right field. Then lead off batter Andrew Robinson singled to right center field to drive in Corner. Trevor Clemons would slap one to left field driving in Clemons. Caleb Robinson hit a hard ground ball to shortstop who missed it to drive in Clemons.
Shining Knight then brought Chase McNeill into the game to pitch and he went 2 2/3 innings picking up the win and Caleb Robinson would come in for the last out for the save. Shining light is 3-0 on the season.
